Thirteenth Meeting: Priority Health
March 25th, 2015

Thank you to Priority Health for coming to the club for the first time for our last meeting of the year. A special thanks to Jim Carson, Kent Newcomb, Brian Jones, and Emily Cummins for making the voyage to East Lansing and giving a presentation that covered everything from IBNR to Pricing and the Affordable Care Act. Members can click on their names in order to stay in contact with these actuaries. Michigan Actuarial Society Meeting
March 18th, 2015

Today was the first day of what we anticipate to be many meetings of the Michigan Actuarial Society at Michigan State University. Thank you for everyone who was able to attend and represent Michigan State. The guest speaker, Louise Francis, spoke on Predictive Modeling. There will be a story posted in the upcoming days on the lecture that can be found on the Program website. Wednesday March 25th will be our last meeting of the year with Spectrum Health, where we will introduce board members for next year and hand out t-shirts for those who have ordered one. Twelfth Meeting: Quicken Loans

Eleventh Meeting: Resume/Interview/Public Speaking Workshop
January 28th, 2015

Thanks for everyone who was able to come to our workshop. We will plan on having a much earlier workshop next year and we were really pleased with the turn out. Tenth Meeting: Auto-Owners Insurance
November 19th, 2014

We appreciate those of you who were able to come out tonight and participate with Auto-Owners. This looks like it is going to be our last meeting of the semester and we will pick back up in January! You can apply online to Auto-Owners or contact any of the representatives who were able to make it. Caroline Armbruster is a former President of the Actuarial Science Club here at MSU and would be more than happy to answer any questions. Shannon Chaffee and David Leuters are also great points of contact along with HR Recruiter Steve Bohus.

Ninth Meeting: AAA
November 13th, 2014

Eighth Meeting: Blue Cross Blue Shield
November 6th, 2014

For those of you who are interested in applying to Blue Cross Blue Shield, the internship will be in Detroit/Southfield and can be applied at here. Points of contact who were at the club meeting are Adam Dee and Erica Shugart. An HR representative who can also answer any questions is Tracy Schriver.

Seventh Meeting: Jackson National Life Insurance
October 15th, 2014

Sixth Meeting: Farm Bureau
