Registering for an Actuarial Exam

Go to soa.org
1. Go to www.soa.org

 

Click on Registration under Exam and Requirements under the Education & Exams tab.
2. Click on Registration under Exam & Requirements under the Education & Exams tab.

 

Select the Exam you would like to take

Log in to www.soa.org using your username and password. If you have no created an account, you can create an account as a first time user. You need to make account in order to take an exam.

You will then pay for your exam. The cost of actuarial exams can be found here. Most companies will pay for the exam and study materials if you are a full-time employee for the first 2-3 attempts.

There will be an order summary that you can use to go to parametric.com to find a testing center. Exams P, FM, MFE, and C can be taken via computer but Exam MLC must be taken with paper and pencil.
