Registering for an Actuarial Exam
1. Go to
www.soa.org
2. Click on Registration under Exam & Requirements under the Education & Exams tab.
3. Select the Exam you would like to take
4. Log in to www.soa.org using your username and password. If you have not created an account, you can create an account as a first time user. You need to make an account in order to take an exam.
5. A clarification of what you are signing up for and to continue if everything is correct.
6. You will then pay for your exam. The cost of actuarial exams can be found here. Most companies will pay for the exam and study materials if you are a full-time employee for the first 2-3 attempts.
7. Their will be an order summary that you can use to go to prometric.com to find a testing center. Exams P, FM, MFE and C can be taken via computer but Exam MLC must be taken with paper and pencil.
